Exhausting and exhilerating. Having a million ideas all the time. Executing one idea every blue moon. Constantly alternating between feeling like a rock star and feeling like a failure. Sometimes feeling like both at once. Knowing you're frustrating to your loved ones, but only sort of understanding why. Killing it on busy days but struggling to accomplish much on days off. Feeling completely incompetent, then realizing you're holding it all together. Basic household tasks feeling monumental, while pulling together complex plans with ease. Opening up to friends about grocery shopping struggles and getting blank looks. Having your strengths overshadowed by your faults. Knowing that anyone who doesn't understand ADHD is very likely judging you. Developing a great sense of self deprecating humor to at least be in on the joke.
